3600A Series product option descriptions

Preface:

According to testing subject on DC Switching power supply, there are two type¡G
3600A series is suitable for AC-DC power supply, its input power is AC source, this is the PAN-901 mentioned in this article; 3602A series is suitable for DC-DC power supply, its input power is from DC source, this has 10 refer to application description on PAN-902.

3600A series is suitable for AC-DC power supply, 3600A testing equipment not just the standard 3600A, there are four others options¡]3600A001~3600A004¡^, to meet different conditions. Other than that, the testing equipment has several external options (like OVP testing source and etc.), can be chosen according to testing need, this article meant to describe the functions and applications of different options.

1.  3600A series AC-DC power supply fully automatic testing equipment:
3600A testing equipment mainly for AC-DC power supply, it has 5 model to choose from, they are 3600A standard model and 3600A001~3600A004 with less functions, design for different uses, their difference are as follow:

1.1 3600A standard model, contain all the options and functions describe in the table.
1.2 3600A001 is the same as 3600A standard model except it does not have the 4 set of ripple noise meter (20MHz PARD).
1.3 3600A002 is the same as 3600A standard model except it does not have AC power supply.
1.4 3600A003 is the same as 3600A standard model except it does not have AC power supply and AC meter (that includes voltage, current and wattage).
1.5 3600A004 is the same as 3600A standard model except it does not have 4 set of ripple noise meter, AC power supply and AC meter (voltage, current and wattage).
1.6 Block diagram for the fully automatic testing equipment of the 3600A series AC-DC power supply is shown in section 7.

5. Other optional accessories and its application:
5.1   5030 OVP testing power source, [30V/5A/150W], for OVP testing use. 5030 is for testing OVP with 3600A. It can only be controlled by 3600A and can not use as an independent power supply.

5.2   9900 External twin fixture, for increasing production line efficiency. 9900 tester have two set of testing connector, it can be connected to two test subject simultaneously (A or B), there is one switch to choose one of the test subject, switching control is using relay connection.
 

5.3   9910 multipurpose tester, for all kind of power supply, this tester can be connect to 3600A series panel or 9900 twin fixture. Universal testing fixture 9910 connector design for user self installations.

5.4   9920 PC use tester, design to use in ordinary PC power supply, this tester can be connect to 3602A series panel or 9900, PC use testing fixture 9920 connection is P8, P9 and floppy drive use connector use in PS II type personal computer.
 

5.5   9930 Remote control, design for easy keypad access to 3600A/3602A series panel control. Remote control 9930 has 8 control keypad; they areF1-F8¡AThese 8 control button can replace the eight button (F1-F8) on 3600A control panel.
 

5.6   9800A Application software, for PC to download test program into 3600A, or 3600A upload testing information onto PC. Its main function: to program testing setup in PC, then use RS-232C interface downloading into 3600A series, this can save the programming time on making testing program (that is to replace setting up every input testing condition through 3600A control panel) or to save the testing profile. This accessory comes free with the unit.
 

5.7   9500 1KVA frequency changer, its input voltage is 115V, its output voltage (0-300Vrms) and frequency (50/60 Hz) can control from 3600A testing mainframe, for precision power source adjusting and power frequency change in 50/60 Hz. When using, 1KVA frequency changer 9500 input is 115V 50/60Hz house hold electricity, its output is connect to 3600A's AC source input.
 

5.8   9501 1KVA frequency changer, its input voltage is 115V, its output voltage (0-300Vrms) and frequency (50/60 Hz) can control from 3600A testing mainframe, for precision power source adjusting and power frequency change in 50/60 Hz. When using, 1KVA frequency changer 9500 input is 115V 50/60Hz house hold electricity, its output is connect to 3600A's AC source input.
 

Note: 9500/9501 control method is as follow:
 

1. In the back of 3600A testing mainframe, from the J1(Isolated Output) there is Pin6, 7, 8 three bit output (through optical isolated), this three bit output can produce eight different control conditions, can be setup during programming testing procedure.

2. In 9500/9501 1KVA frequency changer output voltage (0-300 Vrms) and frequency (50/60 Hz) have eight different conditions can be chosen by user. Every conditions output voltage and frequency has its own individual variable resistor for adjusting.
 

3. During actual usage, 9500/9501 1KVA AC Source can accompany 3600A voltage selector to be use together, on 3600A voltage selector (this is choosing 90, 115, 132, 180, 230, 264V) can be use for course adjustment, and use 9500/9501 1KVA frequency changer for fine tuning, this way can provide any output voltage and frequency require by the output testing.
 

4. External AC Source for 3600A as a programmable power supply has output voltage (0- Vmax.) divide into eight stages for user to setup on AC Source, it includes every stage's output voltage can independently adjust. External programmable power supply need to order from our company.
